God do not take any short cut if achieving something in our character will need suffering. Jesus did not take any shortcut in going to the cross for all of us. How much less is our sacrifice of suffering, if through it, God will polish a facette of our character, making it more lightful. God does not love making us suffering, yet in His wisdom He uses it to get us purer than through other painless approaches. It is worth to suffer, if our character will become through it more alike to the one of Jesus.  In my walking with God I had the privilege and mandate to serve in several countries. Some Christians emphasized, that their native culture has preeminence in their life. I pleaded to put our citizenship in the Kingdom of God first, above the cultural values of the society we live in.  God's Kingdom and His principles, statutes and values should superseed anything in the culture we live in. The grid of Kingdom’ values is the litmus test for everything we are thinking and acting.  For here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city that is to come. Hebrew 13:34

 Living in the resurrection power of Jesus means that as we die daily and contiguously putting portions of our flesh on the cross, this power will resurrect it to a new eternal life in Jesus, for Jesus through Jesus! Adam missed the first occasion to interceed for his woman Eve at the first sinn humans have commited. Instead of interceeding to God the Creator, asking for forgiveness for his woman because he did not fulfilled his responsability and warned Eve not to eat from the tree of knowledge, he just started the endless fingerpointing. So Father in Heaven I come on behalf of all the men that belongs to Your Kingdom and ask You for forgiveness for not interceeding for their spouses, beginning with Adam and ending with ourselves.  Holy Spirit teach us to interceed for our wifes and stand in the gap as Jesus stands for HIS Bride (=Church) right now! In one of his podcasts Dr. Jim Wilder, a neurotheologian said the following related to family: “The smallest group identity is two. And so, marriage is the ultimate expression of the most difficult group identity to form. Because is a mutual shared identity by two people who are about as different as they come, which is made to function in all conditions, 24 hours a day for the rest of your life span. And in it, people are mutually cared for and both people are satisfied. And they are able to take care of a wide variety of problems and all (both) will be glad to return to joy. That is the ultimate test of the hardest identity group to form.”

 God remembered me about one of my strongest encounter with JESUS. It was in 2012, short before I married DanaH at 03/23/2012 in the "Blue Chapel" in "Gospel Forum" in Stuttgart. I stood on a platform waiting for a train. It was about 9.30 in the morning. I was full of joy and I sang inside some songs to Him. And at once, I was "translated" in vision with open eyes where I saw Jesus on the Cross, as in Luke 23:44. I sensed a glimpse of the darkness that was present at that time. I saw how His head hang down and I sensed His deep deep sorrow, His abandonment, the heavy burden HE carried on His shoulder, for me, for us, for the whole mankind. Words cannot describe, what HE sensed, how HE suffered. And yet I was honored to sense with my whole being for 1-2 seconds what HE sensed in Luke 23:44. Simon the Magician in Samaria in ACTS 8 is saved. He is baptized by Philip, and yet this was not sufficient to move him to renounce to esoteric. “Then Peter and John laid their hands on them [one by one], and they received the Holy Spirit” (verse 17). As Simon saw the effects of the baptizing with the Holy Spirit he wanted to buy it. He is rebuked by Peter vigorously (verse 20). And here I want to make some remarks and invite you to comment on it: Peter asks Simon to repent. But the Magician, instead of repenting and becoming humble, he “delegated” again the prayers for repentance to Peter & John. Scripture does not continue the story. I think this an invitation for us to reflect on it. Some thoughts on it:

The first kinsman of Naomi and her daughter-in-low did not want to redeem her inheritance and to restore the name of the dead man who was the husband of Ruth, because he did not want to endanger his own inheritance. A slave at the working place is someone who obeys and not think, not creates. A builder creates and uses the necessary resources for his work to succeed inside. A slave is seeking the resources outside, expects that the boss and the others deliver to him all that she/he needs to succeed. So, the question is, what did you hired? Slaves? Builders? It is not realistic to believe that all your employees are builders but would be a miracle if your company wouldn't go bankrupt if all, including the leaders, would be slaves. How can you bring your company to make the transition to an organization with a spirit of builders and not of slaves?  First, as a founder, take a look to the leaders: are they builders? Most of business people ground their business on what they have learned, experienced, or was told by others. I want to incite some of you (hopefully all) to consider involving God in your business. God is omniscient and omnipresent.  Therefore He knows everything about your business and He is everywhere in in it. Involving Him in your business will certainly bring you a huge competitive advantage but it will “cost you something”. On the costs I will come later in this motivational. God gave us the Bible as a User Manual for the human being. This is also a “Best Practices” manual that shows many stories with victories and defeats.  I will refer to several places in the Bible to enrich this message. The word Mercy is in the Bible primarily understood as an act of godly favor or compassion. In the obvious language this word means compassion shown especially to an offender or to one subject to one's power. It also mean a compassionate treatment of those in distress. Let us look closer to the word mercy as is used in the New Testament.
